›1948	Born in Tienwei Township, Changhua County, Taiwan

›1967	Graduated from National Taiwan College of Arts (now called National Taiwan University of Arts)

›1972	Won the Golden Eagle Prize for painting in the ROC Air Force

›1980-1990	Taught art and history at Taisi Junior High School

›1990	Earned a Master’s Degree from the National Taiwan Normal University’s Department of Fine Arts

›1990	Began as a Lecturer at the National Taipei University of Technology

›1993	Promoted to Associate Professor at the National Taipei University

›1995	Won the Baoding Prize of World Peace Culture Award

›1998	Became Professor at the National Taipei University of Technology

›2002	Taught concurrently as Professor at the National Yunlin University of Science and Technology

›2004	Retired from National Taipei University of Technology
