Works of Rong-Yuan Hsieh

Wulingyuan and Jiuzhaigou series】

Wulingyuan is located in the Wuling mountain chain in the northwest part of Hunan province, Mainland China. It has four unique scenic areas: Zang Jia Jie, Tian Zi Mountain, Suo Xi Yu, and Yang Jia Jie. A billion years ago, Wulingyuan was lying under the sea. After god's delicate crafting, there are now countless sandy stones forming a "stone forest", and spectacular canyons.

Jiuxhaigou is in Sichuan province, known for very coloful forests, numerous layers of waterfalls, and fascinating blue-green sea, which no other place in the world can claim.

Almost 20 years ago, I went there twice for sketching. At that time, these places were not well-developed, and the journey was full of danger. Just like being on the 'set' of Avatar, I was astonished at those unique shapes of the "stone forest", the waterfalls, and the sparkling blue water. It's really an unforgettable experience.
