【Waterfall series】
Taiwan is famous for many beautiful mountains, from which spring forth gushing falls. The shapes and heights are all different, making these falls unique.
Falls have the power of making paintings move, and they represent "fortune" in Feng-Shui. Waterfalls are very popular in Chinese painting now, even though the ancient artists rarely used the elegance/strength of waterfalls as the main subject, prefering to focus on the strength/elegance of mountians.
The exhibition below was titled "Master of Waterfalls". |
