Fine Brush Painting of Flowers series】

In the history of Chinese painting, the painting of flowers using fine brush strokes also has a prominent place. Flowers were first painted on pottery during the Neolithic age, evidence that they held a special place in the ancient human heart. From pottery and bronze ware to fabrics and building decorations, we all can feel the unique power that flowers can give to us. Painting with flowers as the theme has been a distinct school since the Tang Dynasty, around 1000 years ago.

I have devoted myself to painting shan shui for almost 40 years. In these 2 years, I moved in a small village near Tian-Wei, which is famous as a "flower village". There, I have been deeply attracted by thousands of kinds of flowers, and decided to start the Fine Brush Painting of Flowers series. Each season produces its own special bundle of flowers that generously share their beauty with us (God bless us, we can have flowers throughout the whole year in Taiwan!). I'm very glad to share the "power of flowers” here with you.
